calligraphy

I've been doing a little bit of calligraphy in art class , the first picture is my experiments just to see how different lines look 

the next picture is what I did the next day where I tryed doing a few letters of the alphabet

now we are making some t shirt prints I want to put this design in the front of my shirt 

and this one along the bottom

shading

we had a group project recently , we're we all took a peice of a picture of 'where's Johnny' fri the shining I think it was. I took the peice of the nose for my shaded piece , here is the final product.

the project was a little messed up because everyone had different margins on there printed version of the picture. so the pictures don't match up exactly.

we've been working on shading in class that's going to lead up to a bigger project , so far I have done a shading chart

and a fist punching out ward

to practice our techniques for the bigger project we are working on
